Hello friends ……long time aah!!
This time i want to take on the future of automobiles and traffic (first part) and would like to inform that the cellular future part 2 is almost developed and will be on air soon.
Well do you see how man has counteracted with the challenges of transport and traffic. Before we see future we should have some initial acquaintance of the past.So there we go….
It all started with the discovery of wheels most probably by the Mesopotamian civilization (which i believe have been one of the greatest discovery till now )that gave way to several basic transport media.
In fact The alternative name car is believed to originate from the Latin word carrus or carrum (“wheeled vehicle”), or the Middle English word carre (“cart”) (from Old North French), in turn these are said to have originated from the Gaulish word karros (a Gallic Chariot).
Then mechanics played its vital role in combinational use of wheels, providing equilibria and so it had begun.Ironically long before the newtonian mechanics ,how to increase the speed and balance was known to people. Newton in a way just provided them with a reason to believe in why it happened.The advent was accelerated with invention of mechanical machines and motors. they increased the muscle power and cattle wasn’t to be used anymore.
The first working steam-powered vehicle was designed — and most likely built(there is no exact knowledge about it) — by Ferdinand Verbiest, a Flemish member of a Jesuit mission in China around 1672. It was a 65 cm-long scale-model toy for the Chinese Emperor, that was unable to carry a driver or a passenger. Several other inventions were reported during the same period but they aren’t recognized by the international societies.(rest in peace those souls.)
But these discoveries were vague until they served any purpose rather than be inspirational models.
In 1807 Niecephore Neipus and his brother Claude probably created the world’s first internal combustion engine which they called a Pyreolophore..
Anyhow the father of modern automobiles Benz ,in 1879 was granted a patent for his first engine, which had been designed in 1878. Many of his other inventions made the use of the internal combustion engine feasible for powering a vehicle. His first Motorwagen was built in 1885 in Manheim, Germany. He was awarded the patent for its invention as of his application on 29 January 1886 (under the auspices of his major company, Benz and Cie. which was founded in 1883).
The two stroke engine was also a discovery in this rival-thick time.
Patents were being claimed and challenged like everyday business something that satisfied science as it was continually glorified with these attempts.
Furthermore In 1892, German engineer Rudolf diesel was granted a patent for a “New Rational Combustion Engine”. In 1897, he built the first Diesel Engine.Steam-, electric-, and gasoline-powered vehicles competed for decades, with gasoline internal combustion engines achieving dominance in the 1910s.
Finally came the age of mass production of the automobiles which just revolutionised the transport and here we are today when It was estimated in 2010 that the number of automobiles had risen to over 1 billion vehicles, with 500 million reached in 1986. The numbers are increasing rapidly, especially in China and India.
So now that we had the preface done the big question is how does the future look like.
Well the answer is, it looks like the ideas inside our mind and my blog wants to present some of those ideas…..
have you heard about the term equipotential surfaces. It’s a hardcore engineering term that is defined below .
- Equipotential lines are like contour lines on a map which trace lines of equal altitude.
- In this case the “altitude” is electric potential or voltage.
- Equipotential lines are always perpendicular to the electric field.
- In three dimensions, the lines form equipotential surfaces.
- Movement along an equipotential surface requires no work because such movement is always perpendicular to the electric field.
The last line is the basis of my excavation. Can we have a traffic fully optimised with an electric field on which the future cars run? This way the cars won’t require fuel as they would utilize the electric field only. There would be no rush and no pandemonium since the potential difference can be changed with the help of a software that can synchronize the speed of traffics at several places. No accidents would take place and their would be no runaways. Whenever the driver would reach the destination or would like to halt at a place he/she would switch off the power intake and would thus be popped out of the stream.

The Telecom Service in India is mushrooming at a lightening speed and that is so good in terms of the economy of this build-up.
It all started in 1993 when the telecom industry got an annual foreign investment of Rs 20.6 million.
The next big leap was when licence for providing cellular mobile services was granted by the government of India for the metropolitan cities of Delhi , Mumbai,
Kolkata, & Chennai. Another forward step, 19 more telecom circles got mobile licences and it kept expanding to other cities sice then.The rivalry between
private telecom companies and survival of governmental companyy has been one of the big story since. Now, what I have to talk about is the SMSs.
I dont need to introduce “Short Messaging Service” wing of telecommunication. The jammed network on occcasions like 1st of jan and Valentines day do
tell all the story of its popularity.This works on a sms gateway which is a telecommunications network facility for sending or recieving short message
service transmissions to or from a telecommunication network.After all this time travelling in the recent history I want to let you guys visualize the future
with my eyes.
“I want to share an idea of attaching a unique address (something like IP address) for every genuine sms(not for duplicate one -those which are
forwarded) in its transfer criterion. WHAT IS IT? and WHATs THE USE? Did you hear about the ban on the bulk sms that the government of India imposed
regarding the attacks on north east people? No? Yes? the whole country underwent that dilemma. This idea of attaching an address can put an end to such situation.
The message then would have its identity that from where has it originated (which mobile set and which area) that would help the investigation department to find
out the culprit and more importantly the filters applied by the telecom companies can also work very smoothly avoiding the spread of messages. No matter how
many times a message gets forwarded its origination address would be same. That would constrict cyber cyber criminals from creating hoax.”
“Second very smart dimension of the concept is that one rocking message of yours can make you an overnight star if it gets forwarded a lot
and it would be merely like twitter with virtual memory(without the internet). The telecom companies then can also get benefited as they get helped in the
advertising sector as they will now have to lure the original tester than the one who just forwards it.”
